Questions about our Overgrips and Liquid G
How do I wrap the overgrip on my racket handle?
Are your overgrips double sided?
Yes. You can use the non-logo side of the grip if you feel there is a need to refresh the grip surface. Our grips' elasticity is tuned to minimize deformation after uninstalling, allowing you to regrip on the second side easily.
Why are there so few colors available?
In theory, any color can be made. However certain color dyes affect the properties of the material in a way that impacts grip performance. This is why we do not have a wide range of rainbow colors for you to choose from. The colors we have selected were tested and surpassed our expectations in the performance aspect.
Are your grips really longer than other brands?
Let's just say our grips cover the most area.
They are extra long for their intended sport, but also wider. Our grips are 35mm wide, which we believe is wider than most other grips (< 30mm).
This allows you to adjust your handle thickness by varying the amount of overlap when wrapping the grip.
If the grips do not have sufficient coverage, you can't do that.
Washable overgrips?!
Certainly!
The idea is to renew the microfriction surface. After hours of use, it is normal that your body oils and sweat get saturated in the absorbent material. We call these lubricants. And lubricants affect your grips' ability to provide friction.
Washing with a non-moisturizing surfactant, like dishwashing liquid, is best for removing the lubricants.
Best of all, you do not have to remove the overgrip to wash them. Just leave them on the handle and place the handle under running water, add detergent, scrub. Then wash the suds off, all of it.
Dry in well ventilated area or use a hair dryer on low if you're in a rush.
I see 2 grip thicknesses available. Which should I choose?
We offer 1mm and 0.85mm overgrips. Both are manufactured from the same material. While a 0.15mm difference seems tiny, some players prefer the thinner "pro" feel, often equated with higher responsiveness. Currently our 0.85mm grips are only available in white.
Is Liquid Griptonyte safe to use?
The ingredients used to make Liquid Griptonyte are similar to commercially available anti perspirants.
